Construction on the new Knoxville Middle School officially kicked off with a groundbreaking on March 24, 2021! The new building, set to be complete by December 2022, will be two stories and deliver a 21st century learning environment for students. It will feature two gymnasiums, an indoor walking track and a new weight room.

The project was made possible after voters approved a bond issue in March 2020. The new school will be just to the north of Knoxville High School. The two buildings will be connected.
